A day or so ago I was listening to BBC Radio and they were doing a follow-up to a flood that hit Bangladesh merely a month prior. This country was not even on my radar, so I needed to research more. Here is what I found...

People are still without fresh water; in most situations, people are bathing and drinking water that is polluted with fecal matter and arsenic. They have been adversely affected by this year's monsoon which has destroy much of the south-eastern coast of the country. This disaster has led to tension in other issues like the increased arsenic levels in their ground water and frustration among female textile workers over yearly wages, which has led to violence and rioting in Dhaka, Bangladesh.ย 
These incidents have shown that this country is in desperate need of people to give their lives for the Bangladeshi cause. Bangladesh can no longer go unnoticed by the Western masses. It is time to bring them hope.
