Not sure if anyone has heard about this incident but rights have been going on for 3-4 days in Mozambique due to the rising prices of food. It was primarily caused by the 20% jump in the price of bread. Mozambique is considered one of the poorest countries in the world, which escalates the tension among its citizens. Sadly, their government says that the prices are "irreversible" and it looks as though the prices are going to continue to rise. Check the BBC for the rise in the price of wheat and the cause of the shortage in grains. You can also check out The Guardian (UK) for what prices will look like for sugar, meat, coffee, and cocoa.

Mozambique is not alone in this food shortage; about 40 other countries are facing the same crisis and the high price of wheat.ย
