If you haven’t heard already, Pakistan has been hit by the worst flooding and landslides in 80 years; in fact, the worst disaster the country has seen since the earthquake of 2005. If you didn’t know, monsoon season is needed for agriculture in countries that experience drought-like conditions, as well as bringing down the temperature in hot and dry climates. Yet it can cause extreme rain that leads to flooding and landslide which can affect water supplies and can cause death. 
The monsoon affecting Pakistan has killed around 1,600 people and affected 14 million, people who are trapped in flooded areas, and who are not near clean drinking water and food. What made this incident so devastating is the flooding of the Indus River which stretches over 600 miles in Pakistan.
Still, there are those organizations who are helping to feed those who are without adequate food and provide relief for areas affected with adverse flooding conditions.
